We hope that this site not only gives the user a background on our non-profit but also an introduction to Peru and non-profit work in general. We chose to work in this geographic region not because of its great necessity but also for its potential. Peru is home to a number of world treasures and also to a society eager to succeed. For this reason we not only promote programs that address the need within Peru but also act as an institution that supports local leaders. For this reason you will not only find information about Puentes’ programs but also information and links to organizations and individuals that have contact with Puentes and make up our support staff within Peru. Finally in order to give an introduction to both the areas that we work in and Peru in general we have included information on this country.
