Enrique Plasencia – Director of Operations Plasencia, native to the Cachil Region (home to Puentes sustainable business yacon project,) is an experienced educator and manager of INFOLEE, a cultural association dedicated to providing a foundation for La Libertad’s burgening literary culture. Ann Drazkowski – Director Drazkowski founded Puentes in early 2007. She is the American contact for Puentes and responsible for international coordination and promotion. Rose McNulty – Director Rose McNulty currently serves as Vice-President of the Board of Directors for Puentes. After graduation from Ripon College in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in English and Spanish, Rose continued her education at Illinois State University. There, she completed a master's degree in Professional Writing in 2008. Currently, she works as an Instructor and Administrative Assistant at a nonprofit literacy organization, the Wisconsin Institute for Learning Disabilities/Dyslexia in Madison, Wisconsin. Rose brings to Puentes experience working at various nonprofits and interests in social justice, the environment, and education. Jessica Garcia – Office Manager Garcia joined Puentes as a nurse specialized in the treatment of Leishmaniasis and other related diseases. She continues to work in this capacity while doubling as Puentes’ office manager. In addition numerous people have worked within Puentes projects and have aided our organization David Novoa Winner of the 1995 Peru Young Poets award Novoa is a life long ecologist and founder of the Moche Animal Refuge. Under Novoa’s guidance the facility grew from a safe house for wounded animals to the educational center it is today. Novoa continues to write and is a renowned performance artist in Trujillo Wilmar Sanchez Sanchez is a community organizer for the Cachil region and president of the Cachil agricultural association. Sanchez grows wheat, potatoes and a variety of fruit and is known in Puentes for his abilities to engineer apples. |
